EWLA DIRECTOR

The EWLA is led by Director Colette Parker. Colette was born and raised in Martin County, NC, and graduated from Roanoke High School. She is a double graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, having received her undergraduate degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and a Masters in Speech and Hearing Sciences. She completed post-graduate studies at NC State University and East Carolina University.

For the past 34 years, Colette has worked as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Wake County and surrounding school districts. She also is a real estate agent and small business owner.

Colette has a passion for mission work and ministry and serves as the Youth Pastor at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and as an associate minister at Zebulon First Baptist Church. She has been married for 33 years to her husband Donovan and they are the proud parents of two sons, Donovan II and Drake, and two grandsons, Zion and Zahyiar.
