Executive Director


Delores Mason Richardson, a native of Northampton County, North Carolina, is an ordained minister and accomplished Bible teacher.  She has taught in churches throughout the state for more than 30 years. An accomplished Bible teacher, Richardson was one of the women selected by Thomas Nelson Publishers to write commentary for its Women’s Study Bible, published first in 1995 and republished in 2012. In the past, she wrote Sunday school literature for a major publishing company.

Richardson currently works with churches and nonprofit organizations to help them organize community-based programs to provide a continuum (an unbroken series) of academic and enrichment supports to at-risk children, youth and adults. She also led in the development of a charter school that used the Marva Collins Teaching Methodologies to develop leaders in urban settings. 

Richardson holds an undergraduate degree in professional English from North Carolina A&T State University, Greensboro, NC, and a Master of Divinity from the Shaw University Divinity School, Raleigh, NC. She is in the latter stage of work toward her Doctor of Education Degree with a focus on Organizational Leadership.

Richardson is currently preparing for her second mission trip to Haiti, where she will be one of the leaders in a women’s conference for the indigenous people.
